DIY CANVAS BOOK COVERS.

Canvas drop cloth... this material that painters use to protect surfaces from paint and debris has somehow made its way into every room in our house.

We are kinnnnnd of obsessed.

Ok, just kidding,. We are super obsessed. Walk into any room, even our outside patio, and you will find drop cloth has wiggled its way into our entire house.

We use it as curtains, we've made DIY tepees with it, we love it as book covers but most of all, we love the neutral nature that makes this material a perfect decor option for small spaces.

Because of its light color and texture, painter's drop cloth has the ability to add a soothing element to a small space, making a space appear bigger rather than busy. Take a bookcase for example. Place books on it, and the different colors of each book can often make the shelving look cluttered. But take some painters drop cloth and wrap existing books with them and suddenly you have a neutral palette that allows accessories to pop rather than the books themselves.

This is a super easy project and a very cost effective way to add decor to different areas of a home.
